Houston Wasn’t Trying to Get a Nutt

Rumors have been swarming in Fayetteville, Arkansas for weeks that Houston Nutt was doing the wild thing with a female TV news anchor in the area. He has come out and refuted the allegations of a relationship with Donna Bragg even though Mr. Nutt was blowing up ole girl’s celly. He sent her over a thousand text messages in a six week period which seems like a lot when you are a married man!
There have also been rumors that Houston wants out of Arkansas and supposively has been looking at other coaching opportunities. All this on top of the the loss of star quarterback Mitch Mustain due to transferring and you have a mess down in Arkansas.

Madden Football Curse

Tennesse Titans QB Vince “Runs like a Deere” Young will grace the cover of upcoming Madden 2008 video game. This means he will inevitably get hurt (probably before the season even starts) and the Titans will go 4-12 or so for the season. We have written about the Madden Football Curse before and each year it continues to come true. I don’t care how much EA Sports is paying you Vince you need to back out of this deal ASAP!
Spurrier Isn’t a ‘Neck’ After All

Spurrier spoke out yesterday against the state of South Carolina after the Gamecocks spring football game. “My opinion is we don’t need the Confederate flag at our Capitol,” Spurrier said Saturday. “I don’t really know anybody that wants it there, but I guess there are a lot of South Carolinians that do want it there.”
I think Spurrier should run for some sort of office position for making a stand like this against the confederate flag. The flag shouldn’t be flying at a government building or anywhere else for that matter and it’s time people realize it needs to stop. Wake up!

I’m not sure if you can find me in this picture with Mario Williams, Stephen Tulloch, and Tank Tyler at the NCSU spring game today. I would be the smallest one in the picture, which, if you knew me, that would make the other guys in the picture THAT much more impressive. Let’s just say I ain’t tiny.
