Tank Johnson has been suspended for the first eight games of this coming season. Roger Goodell continues to show the players of the NFL he isn’t messing around with the zero tolerance policy. Tank had all sorts of off-the-filed issues in recent months and will now pay for his gun fetish. We are normally hard on athletes who screw up here at SportsUnderground.com, but I don’t think Tank is a bad guy. Its more of a case of making bad decisions and based on his comments in recent weeks he has learned his lesson. Prove us right Tank! 🙂

Keyshawn didn’t accept an offer from the Tennesse Titans and obviously wasn’t willing to sign with the inevitable offer that was coming from the Oakland Raiders. Keyshawn Johnson has decided to go work for ESPN rather than play football next year in the NFL. At ESPN, Keyshawn will join the crew of Sunday NFL Countdown and Monday Night Countdown as an analyst. He will also particpate on a new weekly ESPN Radio NFL show hosted by Chris Mortensen and Bill Parcells.

Things just haven’t been right recently in Cincinnati since there hasn’t been a Bengal arrested in the last few months. Well, A.J. Nicholson picked up the slack for the team Friday by getting arrested for domestic violence. A young woman called 911 and reported she has been assaulted and when police arrived on the scene the woman did have an injury around her eye. Nicholson wasn’t at the scene, but later showed up at the police station. Nicholson was one of the nine Bungles players arrested during a nine-month span recently and appears to be in a contest with teammate Chris Henry for who can get arrested the most. This locker room has more thugs and is shadier than ‘Oz’ and I just wonder when things will change.

This dog fighting ring accusations centered around one of your residence’s in Smithfield Virginia has gone on long enough. First and foremost it happened at ONE of your cribs. You mean you have never been there and/or didn’t question why there was a kennel of pit bulls placed behind it. At least two of your friends have come forth to state you not only knew about the dog fights, but you attended many of them. Neighbors of the residence state they have seen you at this house “you have never been to”. Now there is word of supposed video tapes placing you on the scene of these dog fights.

Your new coach Bobby Petrino has stuck up for you through all of this and imagine what an ass you make him when everything blows up around you, him and the Atlanta Falcons. Step up and admit to your transgressions or else this could really get ugly.

After months of speculation Moss has been moved out of Oakland. The New England Patriots landed Moss today in a trade for a fourth round draft pick. The Patriots have picked up Donte Stallworth, Wes Welker, Kelly Washington and now Moss in the offseason. It makes me sad to say it, but this has to be the preseason pick to win the Super Bowl.
