BS Belichick/New England Patriots Justice Served

Justice

I ranted yesterday about the classless way Bill Belichick handled the fact he got caught cheating against the New York Jets this past weekend. Today Roger Goodell responded that no one will break the rules under his watch with his ruling on this situation. Belichick was fined $500k (I F’in love it) and the Patriots were fined $250k for taping the New York Jets sideline. While the $250k does nothing to the Patriots bank account the half a mizzil hits the wallet of Belichick who deserves the smackdown anyway. The Patriots will also lose a first round pick if they make the playoffs (highly likely) and a second and third round pick if they don’t. I’m personally done with this topic now because Goodell is the man and handled this situation properly.

BS Belichick

Bill Belichick and New England Patriots cheat

Can we change the first name of the New England Patriots coach from Bill to BS? Late yesterday it was proven the Patriots were stealing signals from the New York Jets in an old fashioned butt whoopin. I’m sure these things happen every Sunday, but this is the very first time a NFL team has been caught. Do you think Belichick was remorseful at all today during his first opportunity to respond to the public? Hell no! That no personality, hobo looking, egostistical jabroni wouldn’t apologize specifically about anything other than distracting his team. He beat around the bush by submitting a printed apology minutes before he ducked and dodged questions in a press conference before finally walking out due to the pressure. What a crock of sh$t! You are still a dominant team without a spy and you wouldn’t be the weasel you are if for once you checked your HUGE ego at the door. I hope Goodell throws the book at you for being such a coward you couldn’t even address the situation your team will be penalized for in the coming days!!!

Chad Johnson’s First TD Gimmick

Chad Johnson wearing Hall of Fame jacket

Chad Johnson has promised to ‘bring his sexy back’ this year and he had an opporunity early on in the Monday Night Football game against the Ravens last night to strut his stuff. Carson Palmer threw a 39-yard bomb to Ocho Cinco leading to CJ walking to the sidelines and puttin on a coat that mimics the ones Hall of Famers wear. I love Johnson’s antics, but I thought with all the hype this was a bit of a let down. Agree?

A Giant Mess

Eli Manning has a separated shoulder

Brandon Jacobs, Osi Umenyiora and Eli Manning all suffered injuries last night in the game at Dallas. Breaking news just out from Chris Mortensen states Manning has a slightly separated shoulder and is out at least a month. Giants camp is currently disagreeing with this report so something is up and it’s not the outlook on the Giant’s season.

Michigan Blues

Michigan Wolverines

The Michigan Wolverines were EMBARASSED in ‘The Big House’ for the second straight weekend. The first loss you knnow by now was to 1-AA Appalachian State and now they have lost to the Oregon Ducks. The final score was 39-7 against Oregon which means Lloyd Carr better have hired some armored body guards by now so he can get around in Ann Arbor. Running back Mike Hart isn’t ready to call this season quits yet though and has made a personal guarantee for the game against Notre Dame this coming weekend. ”We’re going to win next week,” Hart said. ”There’s no question in my mind. I guarantee we win next week.” Today came news that Henne is out and won’t play in the game against the Irish. Did Hart insert foot into mouth?

Kevin Everett in Dire Straits

Kevin Everett spinal injury

Buffalo Bills reserve tight end Kevin Everett suffered a severe spinal injury today. Everett suffered the injury against the Broncos today while playing special teams and is in emergency surgery this evening due to the head-to-head collision. I really hope this isn’t as serious as it sounds and Everett can return with a speedy recovery.
