NBA Bets of the Day – April 28th, 2009

San Antonio Spurs

I really like the Spurs with their backs against the wall tonight at home. I understand they haven’t played well at all this series, but I see this game going to Game 6. Secondly, I’m taking the 76ers basically because they have played Orlando very close every game.

Spurs -5.5
76ers +8.5

Overall Record:

NBA 35-26
MLB 25-16-1
NHL 0-1
College Football: 106-92-1
NFL 103-72-5
College Basketball 197-149-6

NBA Bets of the Day – April 27th, 2009

Miami Heat

Heat -4.5
Lakers -12.5

Overall Record:

NBA 35-24
MLB 25-16-1
NHL 0-1
College Football: 106-92-1
NFL 103-72-5
College Basketball 197-149-6

NBA Bets of the Day – April 26th, 2009

Break out the broom in Detroit today because the Cavs will close out that series with ease. The Pistons mailed it in many weeks ago and King James and the Cavs seem to be on a crash course to the NBA Finals. Rockets also cover tonight at home to make that series 3-1 Houston.

Cavs -8.5
Rockets -4.5

Overall Record:

NBA 34-23
MLB 25-16-1
NHL 0-1
College Football: 106-92-1
NFL 103-72-5
College Basketball 197-149-6

NBA Bets of the Day – April 25th, 2009

I really like the Heat tonight at home after the way Dwayne Wade and the gang played in Game 2 versus Atlanta. I also like the Lakers to rebound from a disappointing loss in Game 3 to the Jazz.

Heat -4
Lakers -4

Overall Record:

NBA 32-23
MLB 25-16-1
NHL 0-1
College Football: 106-92-1
NFL 103-72-5
College Basketball 197-149-6

NBA Bets of the Day – April 22nd, 2009

I was very confident about the Cavs last night and for awhile it looked like the lock of the century. In the end they only covered by one and unfortunately Portland couldn’t quite get over the hump, but they did win. I like my two picks for tonight so follow if you feel the same.

Nuggets -5.5
Hawks/Heat under 184

Overall Record:

NBA 31-22
MLB 25-16-1
NHL 0-1
College Football: 106-92-1
NFL 103-72-5
College Basketball 197-149-6

NBA Bets of the Day – April 21st, 2009

I have to say I would even take the Cavs if they were favored by 15 tonight at home against the Pistons. Detroit is flat out “turrable” and they mailed it in weeks ago. I’m not as confident about the Blazers, but if they don’t want to get swept a win tonight is a must. Happy gambling!

Cleveland Cavaliers

Cavaliers -11
Blazers -5.5

Overall Record:

NBA 30-21
MLB 25-16-1
NHL 0-1
College Football: 106-92-1
NFL 103-72-5
College Basketball 197-149-6

Hope Dworaczyk is a Hottie

Hope Dworaczyk

I’m not sure anyone is actually familiar with the name, but you might know her ex-boyfriend Jason Kidd. Hope is in April’s Playboy edition just one year after having one of Kidd’s children, but she seems to have rebounded quite well. Now don’t get Hope confused with ex-wife Joumana with whom Kidd had three children with before divorcing her due to “extreme cruelty” during their relationship. Kidd accused Joumana of intense jealousy, general paranoia, and many “false domestic abuse claims” to the police as why he wanted out. Is that really the reason or is it because he wanted to be with the likes of Hope Dworaczyk. Well, that is isn’t for me to answer, but he does seem to be enjoying being single and I can’t say I blame him. Play on playa!

James Posey Suspended

James Posey of the New Orleans Hornets was suspended for last night’s game against the San Antonio Spurs because he threw a ball at a NBA referee this past Friday. Posey was immediately ejected from the game this past Friday against the Knicks and I have to admit I’m surprised he didn’t get suspended for more than just one game. We all have wanted to throw a ball at a ref, but unlike Posey we had enough sense not to follow through.

Sean Williams Needs Help

He needs help soon because he just keeps doing dumber and dumber things. Earlier this year the New Jersey Nets forward went back to Chestnut Hill in order to watch BC ball against Duke. However, he forgot about a restraining order that prevented him from being on the campus. Williams was kicked off the Golden Eagles team back in 2007 and then banned from the campus totally last year. Well, yesterday he went to a whole new level. Sean Williams got into an argument with a clerk at a cell phone store and literally went loco. Williams supposedly picked up a computer monitor and threw it and then went on to destroy a printer along with some other equipment totalling $1,300. He spent the rest of the day in jail and missed the Nets game last night. I know the customer service is generally bad at your local cell phone kiosque, but do you need to get all gangsta Sean?

Devin Harris From Downtown

Devin Harris the point guard for the New Jersey Nets hit an unreal game winning shot last night against the Philadelphia Sixers. Check out how it gets deflected once and then he goes right back up with it from half court.
