My name is Chris Henry and I am an extremely talented wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals. I just got out of a two day stint in jail because I gave minors alcohol in my hotel room sometime last spring. I should have served a lot more time, but the judge suspended 88 of my 90 day conviction because I make loot. There is no need to become alarmed though because I will be back in jail in no time at all. I live life hard and fast baby!

Serena Williams on Steroids?

The thicker and more mighty Serena Williams overpowered Maria Sharapova 6-1 6-2 last night in the Australian Open Final. Serena was ranked #81 before this tournament, but came into the Australian Open with a head of steam and destroyed the competition. The precious Maria Sharapova fell, but became the #1 ranked women’s player in the world after her excellent showing.
The real question is does the WTA Tour test for performance enhancing drugs? I mean Serena Williams looks like she is on a healthy diet of steroids for breakfast, lunch and dinner with animal adrenaline for dessert. I think it might be time to start the investigation. ;-)Â

Maria Sharapova Makes Australian Open Finals

The lovely Sharapova became the first Russian woman to make the Australian Open Final early this morning after she made short work of Kim Clijsters. Maria won 6-4 6-2 and will face Serena Williams in the final. Serena is currently unseeded, but she has won this main event twice and is back to her old game in this Australian Open.
Phoenix Suns Win 15th In A Row

It always helps when you have a long winning streak and you are playing the New York Knicks and the Suns took full advantage of the situation. Phoenix won 112-107 in Madison Square Garden and their current record is now 34-8. Amare Stoudemire dropped 30 and Steve Nash scored 22 points and also dished 14 assists. Phoenix plays at Milwaukee this Friday and 16 is definitely possible.

Tank Johnson Can Play

Cook County Judge John Moran granted a defense request for Tank Johnson allowing him to leave the state of Illinois due to his pending gun possession charges. This allows Tank Johnson a defensive tackle for the Chicago Bears to play in Super Bowl XLI. The charges were some of the most startling I can remember in my life when officers found three rifles, three handguns and over 500 rounds of live ammunition. Then not too long after the gun charges Johnson’s bodyguard Willie B. Posey was gunned down in a nightclub while hanging out with Tank. The judge did tell Johnson to keep his nose clean or else he would face dire consequences. I hope Miami police are ready for the TANK when he arrives because with Tank Johnson you just never know.

Maria Sharapova – Semifinals Australian Open

Sharapova will face Kim Clijsters in the semifinals of the Australian Open. This is more of an opportunity to show a picture of such a lovely specimen. Go Maria!
McNabb Not Happy

I’m sorry, but I have to call bulls*$t on what I feel is a totally media hyped story rearing its ugly head these days. If you turn on sports radio, ESPN, FOX, or other sports entities one of the lead stories is McNabb is upset with the Eagles which could lead to many new changes this coming year. First of all, do we know McNabb is actually upset with the Eagles organization? Secondly, Andy Reid and the Eagles are actually thinking of benching McNabb and starting Jeff Garcia next year? I mean this is the same Jeff Garcia who couldn’t even hold a starting job in Detroit or Cleveland in recent years. Finally, Philadelphia is actually considering starting Garcia? Sorry, I had to say that again because to me this is complete bunk. The only thing McNabb is mad about is the fact he had a freak injury on the sidelines and it probably kept the Philadelphia Eagles from reaching the Super Bowl as the NFC champion. The Eagles will start McNabb next year or the SportsUnderground will spawn a new sister site dedicated solely to flowers and butterflies!!!  Â
It’s Saturday in late January and that means a smorgasboard of mens college basketball. This won’t be the only prediction from us today.
