Maria Sharapova has won her first 14 matches of 2008 thus leading to winning her second straight title this year. Sharapova won the Australian Open earlier this year and today she won the Qatar Open after beating unseeded Vera Zvonareva 6-1, 2-6, 6-0. Along with the Qatar Open trophy Maria won an astounding $414,000. Damn, that is enough cabbage to blow anyones skirt up. 😉

In the battle of the beauties Maria Sharapova dominated Ana Ivanovic in straight sets 7-5, 6-3 to win the Australian Open yesterday. Sharapova didn’t lost a single set in the tournament and was head and shoulders the best player in the tourney. I expect Maria to win at least one more Grand Slam this year if she can keep up the command she displayed the last two weeks.

This is an epic fourth round match of hotty central in the Australian Open. We like Elena, but let there be no doubt we want Maria Sharapova to win the match.

I just read some of the most random news I have come across in quite some time. Martina Hingis is retiring from tennis due to a positive drug test result from Wimbledon. She denies the test results, but doesn’t feel like fighting the outcome because it could take a long time to clear her name. Ummmm….bullshit! Coke doesn’t just hop into your system Martina so next time make sure you blame it on Britney. 😉

I suggest you think about this one hard because it isn’t easy. #11 Daniela Hantuchova might be the toughest one yet to judge so we are serving up three pictures rather than two. Picture 1 and 3 makes us think SMOKIN, but we are going with BROKEN based on picture 2. Thoughts?
