Former Ball State quarterback Nate Davis was left high and dry this past Friday at Scheumann Stadium in Muncie, Indiana. See the problem was last Friday was pro day for the early exiting quarterback and only one bleepin NFL team showed up. The sadder part of this story is the team that showed up was the Indianapolis Colts who are only a couple of hours down the road. Davis who once was a possible first day draft choice has seen his stock plummet over the last few months. I just shook my magic eight ball and “it is decidedly so” Davis will be a late round draft choice by the Lions or Raiders.

Rey Maualuga Gettin Down
Check out the video clip below of Rey Rey pressing up on Erin Andrews last week at the Rose Bowl. It’s a quick dance, but I’m impressed with him deciding to bust a move with Miss Andrews!

Charlie is Coming Back

As we predicted just a few days ago Charlie Weis will return as head coach for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish next year. The Irish brass decided to let Charlie know tonight so he wouldn’t be distracted while he is out recruiting this week. I knew in the long run the Irish weren’t willing to pay that much dough for a buy-out so they have to give Charlie another year. In the long run I don’t think Charlie is cut out to be a college football coach, but he gets another year to try and prove me wrong.
