Love the WNCAA!!!

So it is a Tuesday and all you have on TV is the President, Simon and Simon, NIT or the Women’s NCAA Tourney. Well I decided to make it a night and bet a 3 team parlay which included Oklahoma, Maryland and Florida..

Suffice it to say I hit the parlay and enjoyed it as much as Andy Griffith reruns.

I got to say that I had to watch the Oklahoma game till the end as they had to cover an 11.5 pt spread and 4 time Consensus All American Courtney Parris, yes Bubba Parris’s daughter and the girl who said that if they dont win the championship she will give back $60k in scholarship, well she for the 3rd time in her career did not have a double double.  Of course.. I bet them and she pulls that mess.  Well it worked out and I think I have found my wagering calling.

Pat fuming over 1st round loss

Pat fuming over 1st round loss

A side note.. Bitch of the Day Award goes to Pat Summit. After last year’s National Championship just about her entire team left and this year for the first time in her 28 years as head coach she lost in the 1st round.  What does she do? She has called practice till the NCAA says they cant practice anymore to prove she is pissed.  What she is all bent out of shape about is now UConn and Gino Auriemma, her arch nemesis has the upper hand with 16 straight Sweet 16’s when Tenn had the record at 28.

WOW!! Imagine this happening in the mens game.. Ummm not.

Upset Minded Tourney

I know what you are thinking.. this guys 5 Star pix are .. well in the immortal words of Charles Barkley, “turrrable’.

I did not see Cleveland St walloping Wake like they did.. Although I thought Cleve St was gonna hang around for a while.. I mean they did beat this years Tourney Darling Syracuse at their house. I just didnt see it.. Pitt and Loui both disappointed as big time favs so yesterday was a bad day.

APTOPIX NCAA Va Commonwealth UCLA BasketballThere were a few shining moments like …I did have that crayon Siena as well as ASU and USC from the Pac 10 who by the way are showing that their conference wasn’t such a bad conference after all. Ya know that conference out west that had as many teams in the tourney as ACC and after round 1 is 5-1.

So without further adieu I give you my Pix.. keep in mind I am 3-5 after 2 days so play with caution.

The Presidential Bracket

Below is an ESPN video of Barack Obama walking Andy Katz through his NCAA basketball tournament selections. Nothing better than a good politician walking a straight line and basically picking straight chalk!

Sean Williams Needs Help

He needs help soon because he just keeps doing dumber and dumber things. Earlier this year the New Jersey Nets forward went back to Chestnut Hill in order to watch BC ball against Duke. However, he forgot about a restraining order that prevented him from being on the campus. Williams was kicked off the Golden Eagles team back in 2007 and then banned from the campus totally last year. Well, yesterday he went to a whole new level. Sean Williams got into an argument with a clerk at a cell phone store and literally went loco. Williams supposedly picked up a computer monitor and threw it and then went on to destroy a printer along with some other equipment totalling $1,300. He spent the rest of the day in jail and missed the Nets game last night. I know the customer service is generally bad at your local cell phone kiosque, but do you need to get all gangsta Sean?
