We are sometimes pretty hard on Kobe Bryant here at the Underground so today we want to give him some proprs. Check out this video clip of highlights from Kobe Bryant scoring 65 against the Portland Trailblazers. Kobe is EN FUEGO!
Kobe Bryant Scores 65
Phil Jackson Can’t Be Happy
It is going to be time for some serious Zen soon for Mr. Jackson. His Lakers just lost their seventh game in a row which is the first time in Phil’s coaching career this has happened. The Lakers have a lot of injuries and Kobe is getting supsended every other game these days it seems, but seven in a row in the NBA? Anybody want to bet Phil is gone after this year?Â
Kobe Suspended…..AGAIN!
This time he dropped a bow on Marko Jaric so he missed last night’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Lakers lost to the Bucks by 20 points last night with Kobe out. This was eerily similar to Kobe’s previous one game suspension for an elbow to Manu Ginobli. I think it’s time for Kobe to have some more affairs with women because he seems to have some pent up frustration that needs to be let loose. ;-O
SportsUnderground.com’s Dumb Ass of the Week
There were SOOOO many this week considering Gerald Henderson of Duke, Juan Pablo Montoya and even Jake Plummer wanting to retire because he didn’t like the Buccaneers, but in the end we will give it to Ron Artest. Ole Ronnie boy was arrested today for a domestic dispute. It was only a few weeks ago this was in trouble for neglecting his dogs which I have absolutely no tolerance . The female assaulted had injuries and the Sacramento Kings responded quickly by exusing him indefinitely from the team due to the arrest. When will you learn Ron???
Shaun Livingston Injury
This might go down as one of the most gruesome injuries of ALL time. Shaun Livingston of the Los Angeles Clippers will not be playing in the NBA again for quite some time after this horrific scene.
NBA Bet of the Day
Dennis Johnson Passes Away
Dennis Johnson former guard of the Boston Celtics has died at the young age of 52 from a heart attack. Johnson was part of the Celtics dynasty along with Bird, McHale and Parish when they won three World Championships in the 80’s. My heart and best wishes go out to Johnson’s family.
Dwayne Wade Injury Douses Miami’s Season
The Miami Heat are currently 26-27 and barely hanging on to eighth place in the Eastern Conference after their loss to the Houston Rockets last night. Losing the game was not nearly as big to Heat as Dwayne Wade dislocating his shoulder late in the game. Wade will no doubt be out at least a month and the Heat are absolute garbage without him in the roster. Turn out the lights this party is OVER!
NBA Dunk Contest
Here is a video clip highlight of some pretty spectacular dunks from this year’s dunk contest Dunk Contest video clip. It does start off with a little dance display by none other than Shaq Diesel. Check out the dunk by Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic and congratulatons to Gerald Green from the Boston Celtics.Â
Tim Hardaway Goes Off
I’m going to for the most part leave this alone and just let you hear the audio for yourself. Tim Hardaway who played most of his career with the Golden State Warriors and the Dallas Mavericks is not fond of gay people and he really opens mouth and inserts foot in this audio! This was all in response to a question about the recent coming out announcement of former NBA player John Amaechi.
