SportsUnderground has been on the web for nine years and our goal is to provide opinions and laughs on sports topics along with a plethora of betting picks.
Check out this video clip of Stephon Marbury singing his praises for the acquisition of Zach Randolph. I think he should have been making a bigger deal about the fact they got rid of Steve Francis in the trade. 🙂
You really need to stop selecting UNC players with your first round picks. Brandan Wright isn’t strong enough to beat his way out of a wet paper bag and his jumper is on the same level as Bill Cartwright. Then with your second round pick you take the human sloth Jared Dudley. I realize there weren’t any other UNC players worth picking, but you had to stay in the ACC huh? The Bobcats sure aren’t on the yellow brick road these days!
Hell no! I can’t imagine he is pleased with the Lakers taking a shot hungry point guard in Javaris Crittenton from Georgia Tech with their first round pick. I actually think I heard Kobe whining from the east coast with the announcement of LA’s pick.Â
The Seattle Sonics picked up all everything Kevin Durant with their second pick, but that was just the beginning of their 2007 draft. Ray Allen and the Sonics #35 pick was traded for the #5 pick Jeff Green of Georgetown along with Delonte West and Wally Szcerbiak. The Sonics made out like bandits on this deal and have brought a new found fever to a dying organization. Well done Seattle!

The first pick of the NBA Draft of 2007 is Greg Oden. This is more chalk than taking all the number one seeds in the first round of the NCAA Basketball Tourney. Kevin Durant could end up being a better player, but Portland is taking Oden and that’s the bottom line because StonecoldJZ said so!
This new reality show hits ABC TV tomorrow night at 9:00 PM EST. The Diesel will be shaping up six obese kids. I find this to be a bit of an oxymoron since Shaq has been questioned many times on his physical regimen, but hey what do I know. I can’t see this show flourishing in the least bit and when it’s all said and done it could be another Kazaam tragedy. I shouldn’t be so cynical because at least it’s for a good cause.
Chauncey Billups has opted out of his contract with the Detroit Pistons and will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st. Last year ‘Big Ben’ Wallace left Motown for Chicago and greener pastures (pun intended). I will go ahead and pronounce this is the beginning of the end for Detroit if they can’t retain Billups. Joe Dumars and Flip Saunders better be doing all they can to keep Chauncey in the fold.
This rumor is hot right now, but I can assure you it won’t happen. Kevin Garnett will end his career in Minnesota (unfortunately) so disregard all the media hype around this possible trade.
Kobe talking: “I’m serious man! You can tell Mr. Buss, Mitch Kupchak, and everybody else in Lakers management that I have changed my mind again and I WANT TO BE TRADED! If I have to go tell Steven A. Smith or discuss my request on my website www.kb24.com then have no problem doing that either. I want to be heard.”
