Elliot Gealy earned an exempt status on the Nationwide Tour for 2011 after he shot a 70 on the sixth and final round of the PGA Q-School qualifying tournament recently held in Winter Garden, Florida. Gealy holed three birdies and had two bogeys on the final round at Panther Lake Course finishing up with a 425 after six rounds and tying for 59th. The top 26 earned PGA cards for 2011 and if not for a couple of bad breaks Gealy could have been in contention for the elusive PGA card. Elliot Gealy was the leading money winner on the Hooters Tour in 2004 and also was an excellent golfer at Clemson University. Congratulations on making the Nationwide Tour Elliot.
