Michigan State didn’t cover last night in Ann Arbor and the Spartans almost lost the game straight up. Kentucky finally showed their youth at South Carolina which led to their first loss of the year in large part due to the spectacular play of Devan Downey. Tonight we have an impressive Big East matchup at 7 PM on ESPN. #4 Villanova rolls into Louisville has a 10-2 record at home this season. Louisville lost a lot of talent from last year’s team and I just feel they are going to have a hard time handling the backcourt of Corey Fisher and Scottie Reynolds this evening. The Cardinals will without a doubt pressure Nova all night so look for Louisville to hang, but lose out in the end.

Pittsburgh rolls into Cincy this evening with both teams boasting a 2-0 record in league play to date. Pitt rolled over Syracuse in the Carrier dome just two days ago so they come in with a lot of confidence. Cincy defeated UConn a little less than a week ago so they are feeling pretty good about themselves as well. I didn’t think too much of Pitt a few weeks ago and while they are playing very well I think it’s going to be very hard for them to win two tough Big East games in a row on the road. Take the Bearcats.
