The second leading scorer for the Syracuse Orange has been booted out of school and off the basketball team for allegedly hitting a girl a couple of months ago. The school’s board wanted Devendorf suspended for the year, but it turns out if Eric completes his community service he can apply to return for the spring semester. Devendorf will definitely miss the big matchup tomorrow against Memphis, but don’t be surprised if he is back on the court as quickly as December 30th for the Big East opener against Seton Hall.
