I can’t find an actual video clip anywhere for some reason, but I might like this Baseball Bunch rendition with Johnny Bench and the San Diego Chicken almost as much. Happy 25th George!

Corey Hart’s Kid Can’t Be Happy
Check out the vidoe clip below of Brewer’s teammates inappropriately celebrating the announcement of Corey Hart winning the public vote for the final National League All-Star spot. Is that really necessary with his cute little daughter in his lap?

Don’t Vote for the Stache
There is a day and a half left in the All-Star voting over at MLB.com for the final two team members of the All-Star team to be announced. In the National League you can vote between Corey Hart, Carlos Lee, Aaron Rowand, David Wright and Pat Burrell. I think when it’s all said and done David Wright will get the final nod. In the American League you have Evan Longoria, Jermaine Dye, Jose Guillen, Brian Roberts and Jason “I wanna be a 70’s porn star” Giambi. Since growing the stache back in mid-May Jason Giambi’s production has blossomed along with a lot of hype from fans and media. Tomorrow night at Yankee Stadium they are even going to give out free moustaches to encourage fans to vote for him.
Yes, Giambi has 18 home runs and 53 RBI’s, but he is batting a paltry .256. I beg each and everyone of you to not fall for such a gimmicky promotion because this bum doesn’t belong in the All-Star game. Please vote Longoria!
