We might finally be blessed with no longer hearing Lawrence Phillips name in the news now that he was sentenced to jail yesterday. Phillips faces 20 years in the clink for his role in driving his car onto a field in 2005 and running over people he was playing with in a pickup football game. He hit three people who were all teenagers and nearly hit three more because his team was losing the pickup game. Lawrence…a pickup game with teenagers??? This is the same man who repeatedly has been accused of beating women while playing with the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Miami Dolphins. Have fun in jail Lawrence because it’s one thing you truly deserve.
