That is an impressive evening, but it didn’t help the Trojans because they fell at home to Mercer of all teams. Mercer hails from the Atlantic Sun conference where a little team called Gardner-Webb plays. Ever heard of them?

* The Kansas Jayhawks are now 10-0 in college football after popping Oklahoma State last night 43-28. When do we finally say this team is for real?

* Miami said goodbye to the Orange Bowl last night in a most embarassing way. After decades of big games and wins Miami fell to Virginia last night 0-48.
