Rumors are starting to be kicked around that Lorena Ochoa will be the next LPGA golfer to play against a PGA golfer. Unless this is going to be played as a “just for fun” event this is a bad idea all the way around. Anika Sorenstam and Michelle Wie have both attempted this before and MISERABLY failed. I want to be clear that I am by no means prejudice rather a realist in this respect. Ochoa should stick to the LPGA where she is incredible rather than embarassing herself in an event against a PGA golfer.
Ochoa Say No

Let her have a shot. It will be fun to watch her go down.
Exactly.. I say let her make a run at it. Anika had the best shot and Lorena who has not won a US Open yet should not take the challenge,, but when she doesnt make the cut maybe the ladies will finally see the light.. BUT with Tiger out of the mix for a while this will at least give the TV ratings a small boost. Otherwise we will continue to get Jeff Overton, Heath Slocum and Billy Mayfair battling for $1M first prize every week. real good TV dont ya think?
I love the Jeff Overton reference DB!
