Paula Creamer of the LPGA…Thoughts?

We previously reported that Dale Earnhardt Jr. would run in #38, but it now appears he will double his old number and run with #88. I like both options and I’m anxious to see what the final determination will be.

Oklahoma State covers -10.5 at Troy State

My ode to Oden is going to be very short and sweet. Oden is a rookie senior citizen that unfortunately ended up with the same injury as a former Trailblazer #1 pick Sam Bowie. Oden had surgery today on a microfracture of his knee and is done for the entire year. Portland’s season is done before it starts and so is Oden’s professional career.

I ranted yesterday about the classless way Bill Belichick handled the fact he got caught cheating against the New York Jets this past weekend. Today Roger Goodell responded that no one will break the rules under his watch with his ruling on this situation. Belichick was fined $500k (I F’in love it) and the Patriots were fined $250k for taping the New York Jets sideline. While the $250k does nothing to the Patriots bank account the half a mizzil hits the wallet of Belichick who deserves the smackdown anyway. The Patriots will also lose a first round pick if they make the playoffs (highly likely) and a second and third round pick if they don’t. I’m personally done with this topic now because Goodell is the man and handled this situation properly.
Maryland covers +16.5 at home against West Virginia
Air Force covers +8 at home against TCU

Can we change the first name of the New England Patriots coach from Bill to BS? Late yesterday it was proven the Patriots were stealing signals from the New York Jets in an old fashioned butt whoopin. I’m sure these things happen every Sunday, but this is the very first time a NFL team has been caught. Do you think Belichick was remorseful at all today during his first opportunity to respond to the public? Hell no! That no personality, hobo looking, egostistical jabroni wouldn’t apologize specifically about anything other than distracting his team. He beat around the bush by submitting a printed apology minutes before he ducked and dodged questions in a press conference before finally walking out due to the pressure. What a crock of sh$t! You are still a dominant team without a spy and you wouldn’t be the weasel you are if for once you checked your HUGE ego at the door. I hope Goodell throws the book at you for being such a coward you couldn’t even address the situation your team will be penalized for in the coming days!!!

Chad Johnson has promised to ‘bring his sexy back’ this year and he had an opporunity early on in the Monday Night Football game against the Ravens last night to strut his stuff. Carson Palmer threw a 39-yard bomb to Ocho Cinco leading to CJ walking to the sidelines and puttin on a coat that mimics the ones Hall of Famers wear. I love Johnson’s antics, but I thought with all the hype this was a bit of a let down. Agree?

Brandon Jacobs, Osi Umenyiora and Eli Manning all suffered injuries last night in the game at Dallas. Breaking news just out from Chris Mortensen states Manning has a slightly separated shoulder and is out at least a month. Giants camp is currently disagreeing with this report so something is up and it’s not the outlook on the Giant’s season.

Cincinnati covers -2.5 at home against Ravens
San Francisco covers -3 at home against Cardinals
