Amanda Beard = Playboy Covergirl

Amanda Beard

It’s almost time to run out to the closest Pantry or 7-Eleven and pick up the latest Playboy magazine. Amanda Beard who won seven Olympic swimming medals, two of them gold, is exposing it all in the July issue of Playboy. Beard poses nude in an eight-page spread and I hear there is some excellent articles in this issue guys. 😉

Important question for all our fans…should she be added to the Top 10 Sports Babe list here at Sportsunderground.com? If so, who would she replace? Please comment!

KG to Boston

This rumor is hot right now, but I can assure you it won’t happen. Kevin Garnett will end his career in Minnesota (unfortunately) so disregard all the media hype around this possible trade.

Extreme Paintball

Check out this video clip of a headshot received by a young man playing paintball. It truly looks like my man is down for the count!

Keith Langston Brings It Home

Keith Langston

SportsUnderground.com’s favorite racer Keith Langston won the race this past Saturday at Orange County Speedway. Congratulations to Keith Langston and Mississippi Motorsports on this crowning achievement.

Kobe Disgusted

Kobe Bryant

Kobe talking: “I’m serious man! You can tell Mr. Buss, Mitch Kupchak, and everybody else in Lakers management that I have changed my mind again and I WANT TO BE TRADED! If I have to go tell Steven A. Smith or discuss my request on my website www.kb24.com then have no problem doing that either. I want to be heard.”

Angel Cabrera Wins US Open

Angel Cabrera

Angel Cabrera from Argentina captured the US Open title yesterday despite the pressure of having Tiger Woods in contention on the final day of a golf major. I think every golf announcer in the booth and on the course felt there was no way any player could handle the Tiger pressure, but in the end they were wrong. Cabrera and his carton of cigarettes were on fire (haha) all day! I swear I saw Cabrera with a cigarette in his hand at least four times on the final day and I haven’t seen that since the Ian Woosnam days. Congrats to Angel and which cigarette company will hire him as a sponsor first?

Spurs Complete Sweep

I had been wishing I wouldn’t have to write these words, but San Antonio swept the Cavaliers last night 4-0 with a 83-82 win. The San Antonio Spurs have now won four titles in the last nine years and truly are a dynasty. Can someone please step up this coming year and take down these fundamental freaks?

Lebron James Etch a Sketch

This is one of the coolest video clips I have ever seen. A young man creates Lebron James on one of my favorite toys from childhood the Etch a Sketch. Thoughts?

Earnhardt Jr. Joins Hendrick Racing

black cloud

This is a very sad day for me and I’m sure many other Little E fans feel the same. It was hard enough dealing recently with the fact he was leaving his father’s company DEI, but that was a necessary move due to his stepmother’s obstinance. Today though came the announcement of Jr. joining Hendrick Racing which is a much harder blow to deal with than ever expected. I understand he wanted to go to a team that would allow him to win, but he is now teammates with Jeff Gordon and Jimmy Johnson…UGGHHH!!! He will take the place of Kyle Busch and I assume he will begin driving the #5 car? Anyway, it’s time to go get a case of Budweiser and wash these sorrows away.

Keith ‘Mississippi’ Langston – Racing News

South Boston Speedway

Our favorite racer Keith Langston had two races this past weekend at South Boston Speedway and below is a summary of his results. Keith’s first race of Saturday evening started off with him on the pole and he led for about 5 laps, but for some reason his car just wasn’t handling properly. Langston of Mississippi Motorsports held on for dear life and finished the first race with a solid showing in sixth place.

In the second race he started in third, but fell back in the pack very early on in the race. ‘Sippi’ climbed his way back up into the top five until he was involved in a crash late in the race. The crash hurt his chances severely dropping him to 12th, but in ten laps he rallied back for a fifth place finish.

All in all a sixth and fifth place showing is very respectable and Keith is looking forward to racing the twin races set for this Saturday at Orange County Speedway.
