Suns vs Spurs Series Fall Out

Late in the game last night Robert Horry laid the smackdown on Steve Nash. Horry’s aggressive and unnecessary foul prompted Amare Stoudemire and Boris Diaw to leave the Suns bench. Well, the NBA decided to suspend Stoudemire and Diaw for a game and this could severely hinder the chances of the Suns winning this Western Conference semifinal that is currently tied 2-2. Horry ended up being suspended for two games, but I would argue until the cows come home that Stoudemire is a major impact second only to Steve Nash and Diaw even means more in the long run than Horry. Check out this video clip and tell us your thoughts on whether they handled the suspensions appropriately.

Kirk Hinrich Rings Flip Murray’s ‘Bellz’

Check out this LOW BLOW by Kirk Hinrich against Flip Murray yesterday in game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinal tilt. Its not really noticeable until the third view, but when you see the dirty shot it will no doubt make you cringe. The most surprising thing is Flip Murray still finished a nasty dunk on Hinrich even with the cheap shot.

Congratulations UCLA

UCLA first to 100

You are the FIRST NCAA university to win 100 national championship titles. More importantly you won the 100th with the ever elusive water polo title yesterday against Stanford 5-4. In all serious this is a phenomenal feat and it shows the dedication the university has to their athletics department.

Bowling for Dollars

If that infamous game show was still around there is no doubt in my mind this guy would have made some serious cash. Check out this crazy bowling trick shot video clip.

Nadal is Nasty

Rafael Nadal

Rafael Nadal broke the single surface wins in a row mark today with his 76th win in a row on clay. Nadal broke the record that John McEnroe held with 75 wins in a row on indoor carpet from the years of 1983-85. The win pushed Nadal into the finals of the Rome Open to face Fernando Gonzalez. Calle me whacky, but I think Nadal takes the championship tomorrow.

Lets not forget we are three weeks away from the French Open at Roland-Garros and Nadal will be the heavy favorite going into the big event since the surface is nothing other than clay.
