March Madness Begins

NCAA Basketball Tournament

The sun is shining a little brighter today, the birds are singing a prettier song and for some reason I have an extra giddyup in my step this morning.  Oh that’s right…IT’S MARCH MADNESS TIME!!!  I’m so excited for the next four days of wall to wall college hoops action along with the following weeks to come.  All Hail March Underground Peeps!

Stay tuned for NCAA Tournament selections throughout the day

Sharapova Needs a Hug

Maria Sharpova

Maria is no longer number one in the world in women’s tennis after being upset by Vera Zvonareva in the Pacific Life Open.  Sharapova was up 5-3 in the second set with a chance to close out, but instead lost the next eight games in a row.  I have a shoulder for you to cry on if you want Maria.

SportsUnderground.com’s All Pass Me the Pill Team

All Pass Me the Pill Team

These guys drop it like it’s hot.  When you want to watch unselfish players look no further than these ballers.

Guard: Jared Jordan, Marist  He averaged one assist more than anyone else in the country this year.  Jordan will gave the Red Foxes 8.9 assists a game and still found a way to score 17.7 per game.

Guard: D.J. Augustin, Texas  When you have an All Black Hole player (Kevin Durant) on your team you better be able to pass and D.J. definitely can.  Augustin was the fourth best in the country in assists at 6.8 a game.

Center: Josh McRoberts, Duke  Yes he is soft overall, but dude has game.  He is very athletic and his passing skills for a big man are next to none.

Forward: Geoff McDermott, Providence  As a forward he averaged 5.4 dimes a game.

Forward: Jared Dudley, Boston College  He was ACC player of the year and even though I can’t stand to watch the kid play he really is a true team player.  Dudley could sometimes be accused of passing the ball to much.

Charlie “Hustle”

Pete Rose

Digs his no Hall of Fame grave more and more all the time.  Pete Rose confessed today on the Dan Patrick show that he bet on his Cincinnati Reds “every night.”  Not only did he drop this revelation, but Rose wants to manage in Major League Baseball again too.  LOL!!!!!  LOL!!!!  LOL!!!! I will have to come back to this topic another time because I simply can’t stop laughing.  Read more here – Pete Rose confession

Roseanne Barr Star Spangled Banner

Baseball season is approaching and it made me think of her rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. Thoughts?

Joakim Noah Dancing?

Joakim Noah

I definitely wouldn’t call this dancing because in all reality it is quite disturbing. Joakim continues to do things that make me sincerely dislike him.  Get off yourself Joakim and more importantly quit the beating of your chest.

SportsUnderground.com’s All Black Hole Team – NCAA Men’s Basketball

All Black Hole Team

Basically if you give the rock to any of these players you will not be seeing the ball again.  Let’s give it up for the ‘All Black Hole Team’.

Guard: Rob McKiver, Houston   Dude jacks 10.8 3 pointers a game!!  Nuff said.

Guard: Trey Johnson, Jackson State    Trey averages 21.7 shots a game which is almost two more than anyone else in the country.  Trey averages 27.1 a game and you can watch him face the Florida Gators in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

Center: Kevin Durant, Texas   This kid could be my team’s black hole anyday.  Kevin shoots 17.7 shots a game and only averages 1.9 assists.

Forward: Reggie Williams, VMI    Reggie attempted the second most shots of anyone in the country at 19.7 per game, but is the nation’s leading scorer at 28.8 a game.

Forward: Arizona ‘Az’ Reid, High Point   When you play for High Point we will allow a little ball hogging, but 17.8 shots and 1.9 assists a game?

SportsUnderground.com’s National Player of the Year in College Basketball

Lorenzo Mata

…..IS Lorenzo Mata.  This all Windex player is the heart and soul of the UCLA Bruins.  No one is more rough and tough down low and yet can look so good.  Congrats Lorenzo!

(this is 100% a joke, but will give one of my friends a good laugh)Â
