I’m sure each of you remember the historic wrestler Andre the Giant. Andre was a 7′5 man weighing well over 500 pounds that for over two decades was the biggest thing (no pun intended) on the wrestling scene. One thing I didn’t know is that Andre the Giant was a drinking god. When I read the article linked below and learned how much and often this man drank my jaw dropped to the floor. Check it out and let us know what you think.

Horrific Fall by Candice Michelle of the WWE
2 Comments Published by stonecoldjz October 24th, 2007 in WrestlingThe WWE has been in the news consistently over the last few months due to the Chris Benoit double-murder and rampant steroid use. One of the other big problems for the multi-million dollar industry has been asking their wresters to perform stunts they might not be trained to pull off properly. This happened again this past Monday night on RAW when Candice Michelle had a terrible fall from the top rope in a match. Check out the video clip below for yourself.

I truly think I have seen it all now.

When you think things can’t get any wilder with Pacman Jones he decides to kick it up another notch. Word is out that Pacman is very close to signing a deal with TNA (Total Nonstop Wrestling…I always thought it meant ti$$ and a$$) wrestling. Supposedly he won’t be actually wrestling, but he will have a major role in the storyline. At least the wrestlers of TNA don’t have to worry about his two special moves the “Pacman Bomb” or “Black Rain”

More details have come out on the Benoit tragedy and it’s very disturbing to say the least. Benoit reportedly strangled his wife, smothered his son and then hung himself in his weight room at his homestead. The other big report is this is all tied to Benoit’s steroid use and a supposed “roid rage”. Click the link below for more details on this terrible debacle.
***Chris Benoit Developing Story***

Famous wrestler Chris “The Crippler” Benoit along with his wife and son were found dead today in their new residence in Georgia. At this time there are no further details on the cause of the deaths. Tonight’s WWE Raw was supposed to be a three hour memorial for supposedly deceased Vince McMahon, but tonight Vince made a speech in honor of Chris Benoit. This is truly sad news and as more details come about we will let you know.
If you didn’t see last night’s live episode of WWE Raw then you missed some serious fireworks. There was a full draft to determine which wrestlers would compete in either RAW, Smackdown, or ECW moving forward. Along with the draft it was also Vince McMahon Appreciation Night and it ended with a stunning twist. McMahon came out at the end of the evening for an acceptance speech, but coulnd’t mutter a word because of all the heckling he was receiving from the crowd. McMahon literally walked out of the coliseum with his tail between his legs and as he was entering his limousine it blew up mafia style. It is presumed that Vince McMahon is dead and the WWE fans are in awe. Click the link below for video footage of Vince McMahon’s limousine blowing up and all the other details around this shocking news.

Wrestlemania 23 - All Grown Up

I have always been a big wrestling fan, but sometimes I am into the stories more than other times. I have been a little out of the loop the last two years or so until recent weeks when the “McMahon vs Trump Someone’s Leaving Bald Match” was announced. It will pit Umaga on McMahon’s side vs Bobby Lashley on Trumps side in Detroit in front of a Ford Field record crown of 80,103. The time has arrived and my wife and I are watching the Super Bowl of wrestling with full anticipation. I will keep you posted on each match and of course provide details on who gets their head shaved.
