This week it goes to the NBA’s leading scorer Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets. Carmelo decided to put a big black eye on what has been an oustanding season for him to date this past Saturday in a game against the New York Knicks. Carmelo was involved in an ugly brawl with the Knicks after teammate J.R. Smith was hammered on the way to the hoop against Mardy Collins. Carmelo currently averages 31.8 points a game, but will miss 15 games due to his part in the latest NBA brawl. The NBA has to shed itself its thug image, but this latest incident will only make it harder.

It was a real close race this week for our prestigious award. Delta O’Neal almost pulled it out by being the eighth Cincinnati Bengal to be arrested this year. It never ceases to amaze me that these millionaires can’t pay someone to drive their sorry A$$ around. The winner this week is Stephen Jackson of the Indiana Pacers. Jackson could be one of the scummiest people to ever play professional sports and we all know that is saying a LOT. “Thug for life” was most recently kicked off his bench by Rick Carlisle after a profanity laced argument started because Jackson was removed from the game. I really want Stephen Jackson to just go away for good due to his constant conduct that is nothing but detrimental to his team and the entire league.

This week we had a clear cut winner for the award. It goes to no other than mister “it’s all about me” Braylon Edwards. Earlier in the week he criticized Cleveland’s conservative offensive play calling publically and then went on to question his own teammate Brian Russell for his hard hit on Chad Johnson earlier in the season. Things really escalated yesterday on the sidelines against the Bengals when Edwards exchanged heated words with quarterback Charlie Frye and even grabbed his jersey while teammates tried to calm him down. Quality character Mr. Edwards!

This week the award goes to OJ Simpson. OJ decided to write a book called “If I Did It” that would detail how he would have killed his wife. The ironic thing is we all know he did it anyway and only got off because Johnny Cochran is one of the most sleezy lawyers ever. At least there is some good in this world because they are now canceling the book and the TV interview.

This week it goes to Chris Gamble of the Carolina Panthers. His bonehead idea to try a “Music City Miracle” lateral…err backwards pass…basically lost the game for the Carolina Panthers against the Minnesota Vikings and put them at 0-2 to start the season.

The first year defensive line coach for the Detroit Lions was arrested twice in the past two weeks due to driving while under the influence of alcohol and also for driving through a Wendy’s drive-thru NAKED! Luckily the Wendy’s worker said Cullen didn’t do anything obscene, but call me whacky because I think that is by far obscene enough.
