Patriots Fan Taking It to the Extreme
1 Comment Published by stonecoldjz January 19th, 2008 in General Sports, NFLThis video shows a New England fan who has decided to have his head mirror Tom Brady’s helmet. Check it out to see the drastic measures this man is taking to honor Brady and the Patties!

The New England Patriots survived another big scare against the New York Giants by winning 38-35 and finished the regular season 16-0. I cheered my a$$ off for a loss, but it didn’t happen due to a little love from the refs and because the Giants folded under pressure. I still think the Patriots will falter in the postseason, but I have to tip my hat to the undefeated regular season along with Brady and Moss setting new records for the most touchdowns in a season in their positions respectively. Damnit!

The NFL announced today that the Patriots versus the Giants on Saturday night will be simulcast on NBC and CBS in conjunction with the NFL Network! The game was originally slated for the NFL Network only which doesn’t have as many viewers as ‘Leave it to Beaver’ on Nick at Nite. The NFL Network is in ongoing battles with cable companies demanding the station becomes part of regular cable which would in turn cost the consumers more money. This however is a generous move by Goodell and the NFL and one that is very much appreciated.

Today is an excellent day because we no longer have to worry about the Dolphins going without a win in the exact same season the Patriots could go undefeated. The Dolphins defeated the Ravens 22-16 in overtime after Matt Stover of the Ravens earlier missed a feld goal to win the game. Dolphins fans received one Christmas wish early and now we will have to wait and see if the Patriots lose a game for them to get their other. Congratulations Miami! You deserve this bright spot after enduring a horrible season to date.

I am exactly 30 football minutes away from becoming a huge Baltimore Ravens fan. It is 10-10 at half and the Ravens have Brady looking a bit shaky. Can the Ravens shock the nation and break the Patriots perfect season on Monday Night Football??

It seems that when most people discuss the NFL MVP these days it revolves around the idea that Tom Brady has already locked this award up. I understand the Patriots are 10-0 and possibly heading towards an undefeated season, but don’t hand Brady the award yet. Brett Favre is also in the race for the MVP and his 20 completions in a row yesterday along with 381 yards and 3 touchdowns against Detroit displays how important he is to the Packers.
Brett Favre doesn’t have Randy Moss, Dante Stallworth, Wes Welker, and Ben Watson on his squad yet check out the numbers below. The Packers were not expected to be very good this year yet they stand at 10-1 due to the superior play of Brett Favre to date and for the leadership and experience he exudes. I think it’s a no brainer that Favre should win the MVP!
* Favre has 3,356 yards after 11 games while Brady has 3,059 after 10
* Favre averages 305.1 yards a game versus Brady’s 305.9
* Favre 22 TD’s to Brady’s 38

How can you bet against the Patriots right now based on the way they have started this season? We don’t think you can so take the Patriots -7.5 at the Bengals tonight. Maroney and Rudi Johnson are out so the running back problems become a wash.

Rumors are rampant that safety Rodney Harrison of the New England Patriots will be suspended by the NFL for four games due to his admitted use of HGH. This is very surprising on one hand because the Patriots have one of the cleanest organizations in profressional sports, but unfortunately steroids are everywhere and we will continue to be slapped in the face with this reality.
