Michael McDowell Qualifying Accident
0 Comments Published by stonecoldjz April 6th, 2008 in General Sports, NascarRookie driver Michael McDowell was involved in an horrific accident during qualifying this past Friday at Texas Motor Speedway. Check out this video clip of the Michael McDowell crash and then tell me how he was able to walk away from the mangled mess!

Dale Earnhardt Jr. won his second race in a row today for Hendrick Motorsports at Daytona by crossing the finish line first in qualifying race Duel 1. Earnhardt led 26 of the 60 laps in this victory and he is quickly proving that NASCAR’s most popular driver will bring many smiles to his fans this year.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. won his very first race for Hendrick Motorsports last night at Daytona International Speedway. We are one week away from the Daytona 500 and Hendrick Motosports looks better than ever with the addition of Little E alongside Jimmy Johnson and Jeff Gordon. This should be a very interesting Sprint Cup (yes, now it’s Sprint rather than Nextel) season and SportsUnderground.com looks for Earnhardt to be strong candidate for Sprint Cup Winner in ‘08.
Check out this video clip from the race at Watkins Glen yesterday when Kevin Harvick and Juan Pablo Montoya fight like two little girls.
McMurray edged out Kyle Busch in a phenomenal race to the finish line last night at Daytona. Check out the final lap video clip below.

Well, it’s official that after this year Dale Earnhardt Jr. will not be racing for DEI. This is the same company his departed father Dale Earnhardt Sr. created back in 1998. Little E stated in a news conference today that he was never even close to a deal with DEI based on negotiations with his step-mother Teresa Earnhardt.
Let me first say this will be a very quick end to DEI because without Jr. I can’t see it surviving. Secondly, there is going to be a circus following Jr. everywhere he goes to try and bring him to their racing team. Good luck because it’s going to take some SERIOUS cash to land this icon.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. will make the long awaited and much rumored announcement tomorrow about his plans for the future in NASCAR tomorrow morning. He has been in negotiations for quite some time with DEI, but hasn’t been able to reach agreement on receiving 51% ownership in the company. His stepmother Teresa Earnhardt is oddly enough the one he has been unable to reach agreement with to date. Will he leave DEI? Will Martin Truex, Jr go with him? Will he stay at DEI? We will find out his plans tomorrow at a press conference in Mooresville, NC tomorrow.
StonecoldJZ and his lovely wife are heading to the big race tomorrow along with some friends. I am extremely excited to see some of the scenes outlined below.

and i just won my first NASCAR race yesterday in Mexico City. People are saying I spun out my own teammate Scott Pruett in the Telcel-Motorola 200 to capture the Busch Series event, but it was purely an accident. Pruett isn’t happy with me and he has even accused me of of “dirty driving.” Look at the clip below and tell me what you think.
