Charlie Weisz and his 0-2 football team limped into ‘the Big House’ yesterday to face 0-2 Michigan. Michigan didn’t have senior quarterback Chad Henne, but running back Mike Hart was still confident and even guaranteed a win earlier in the week against Notre Dame. His guarantee came through and Michigan wiped the field with the Irish winning 38-0. The Irish and offensive guru Charlie Weisz could only muster 79 total yards on offense. 79 frickin yards??? I guess it makes sense considering Notre Dame has only mustered 345 total yards in three games for a putrid average of 115 yards a game. Horrendous…flat out!

The Michigan Wolverines were EMBARASSED in ‘The Big House’ for the second straight weekend. The first loss you knnow by now was to 1-AA Appalachian State and now they have lost to the Oregon Ducks. The final score was 39-7 against Oregon which means Lloyd Carr better have hired some armored body guards by now so he can get around in Ann Arbor. Running back Mike Hart isn’t ready to call this season quits yet though and has made a personal guarantee for the game against Notre Dame this coming weekend. ‘’We’re going to win next week,'’ Hart said. ‘’There’s no question in my mind. I guarantee we win next week.” Today came news that Henne is out and won’t play in the game against the Irish. Did Hart insert foot into mouth?
