I saw this blurb today and found it very interesting. We will know by 10 am tomorrow if Nick Saban will actually leave South Beach and go back to the college ranks with Alabama. I know they are throwing the Crimson Tide Credit Union at you Nick, but wouldn’t you rather be in the land of the beautiful rather than the land of the ugly? Things definitely haven’t gone as you had hoped so far with the Dolphins, but not so sure the grass is greener on the other side!

There was two undefeated teams coming into to NFL Week 9, but after the one o’clock games today there is now only one, the Indianapolis Colts. The Chicago Bears no longer are undefeated after being embarassed today in front of their home town fans against the Miami Dolphins. Jason Taylor forced a fumble and returned an interception for a touchdown to helo Miami stun the Bears 31-13. Ronnnie Brown controlled the ground game with 157 yards for the Fish. It’s bad enough the Bears no longer have an undefeated season, but it was ended by the previously 1-6 Dolphins. I think the spirits from the 1972 undefeated Dolphins team were in attendance at Soldier Field today.

Game Summary: Chicago Bears Upset by Dolphins

Marcus Vick was recently added to the Dolphins roster after playing six weeks with the practice squad. “New Mexico” will more than likely be a reserve wide receiver and also return kicks for Miami. I am by no means a fan of Marcus, but he does have potential to be an Randle-El type player unless he decides to pull a gun again in a McDonald’s parking lot.

We might finally be blessed with no longer hearing Lawrence Phillips name in the news now that he was sentenced to jail yesterday. Phillips faces 20 years in the clink for his role in driving his car onto a field in 2005 and running over people he was playing with in a pickup football game. He hit three people who were all teenagers and nearly hit three more because his team was losing the pickup game. Lawrence…a pickup game with teenagers???  This is the same man who repeatedly has been accused of beating women while playing with the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Miami Dolphins. Have fun in jail Lawrence because it’s one thing you truly deserve.
