World Series of Poker21 year old Jeff Madsen won the $5000 short handed (six player) no-limit tournament over the weekend in Las Vegas. As we pointed out last week, Jeff Madsen is the youngest player ever to win a WSOP bracelet and now he has added a second one. All in all Madsen has won over $1.4 million in the last two weeks with the biggest event yet to be played. The $10k Main Event kicks off this coming Friday and will have over 8,000 players participating with a purse the size of Fort Knox.

Youngest WSOP Winner Ever

Jeff Madsen is now the youngest player ever to win a WSOP tournament. Madsen won a $2k no-limit hold-em event yesterday at the ripe old age of 21 years, one month and nine days old. The tournament was over a three day period with roughly 1,500 people competing at the chance to win over $600k. Madsen won the large purse and the always coveted WSOP bracelet. Don’t forget tonight starts the showing of WSOP events on ESPN.
