It appears John Kitna’s prediction won’t come true after all. The Detroit Lions are back to their normal lackluster selves after losing their fourth straight yesterday in ugly fashion to the Minnesota Vikings. Not only have they stunk recently, but now word comes that they have lost their best receiver Roy Williams for the remainder of the year due to a knee injury. I really thought you had a chance at 10 wins Mr. Kitna when you were 6-2, but I think now it will be interesting to see if you can get 7 wins before the end of the year.

Philadelphia Eagles 75th Anniversary Jersey
1 Comment Published by stonecoldjz September 21st, 2007 in NFLThe 1933 Philadelphia Eagles throwback jerseys will be unveiled this weekend against the Lions. The last time I checked the Eagles weren’t in California so I’m quite confused by these threads.

The #2 pick in this year’s draft has signed a six year deal with the Detroit Lions. Things were pretty tense the last few days about when the Lions could actually get Johnson into camp. I’m sure this is a huge relief to Jon Kitna since he predicted at least 10 wins this year.

I am pretty sure that no more than 1% of the population can answer this question because the answer is flat out ridiculous. This gentleman only has one year underneath his belt at defensive tackle in the NFL because his first four years were spent playing defensive end. The answer is Corey Redding of the Detroit Lions. Reddick agreed to a seven-year, $49 million contract that included $16 million in guarantees, including $13 million in signing bonus and roster guarantees. Corey put up 39 solo tackles, 2 forced fumbles and 8 sacks last year for Detroit. The Lions and Matt Millen continue to show why their team has sucked out loud for SO long.

John Kitna the quarterback for the Detroit Lions has predicited his Detroit Lions will win 10+ games this year. This is a NFL team that hasn’t won ten games in a season since 1995 and hasn’t even had a winning season since Y2K. This simply can’t happen for one reason and one reason only….Matt Millen is your general manager. ;-0
P.S. John when you get a chance ship some of the seeds from the dank you are tokin.

Happy Thanksgiving to the SportsUnderground peeps and everyone else. We wish you a happy and safe holiday! We also want you to win some cash on Thanksgiving so below are our picks for the NFL games.

SportsUnderground.com’s Dumb A$$ of the Week Award
0 Comments Published by stonecoldjz September 11th, 2006 in NFLJoe Cullen wins the award hands down this week. The first year defensive line coach for the Detroit Lions was arrested twice in the past two weeks due to driving while under the influence of alcohol and also for driving through a Wendy’s drive-thru NAKED! Luckily the Wendy’s worker said Cullen didn’t do anything obscene, but call me whacky because I think that is by far obscene enough.
