Mountaineers Have Their Man

West Virginia Mountaineers

Long-time assistanct coach Bill Stewart has been announced as the new head coach of West Virginia replacing the departed Rich Rodriguez. Stewart was the interim coach last night in a huge 48-28 win against Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl. Star quarterback Pat White was interviewed right after the game and he stated to everyone watching that Stewart was the reason for the big win and West Virginia would be stupid not to hire him. It seems the Athletic Director agreed with Pat White to the tune of five years and at least $800k a year for Mr. Stewart.
