Dr. Robert Cade the inventer of “Cade’s Cola”(what it was initially called)…err…Gatorade has passed away at the age of 80 years old. This man basically created the second most relevant brand in all of sports behind Nike. When you stop to think that Gatorade generates $5 billion in sales annually you realize how important Dr. Cade is to the sports industry. It’s a shame Cade won’t be around to taste the new Tiger Gatorade that they paid Woods a $100 million dollars in order to use his name. Godspeed Dr. Robert Cade!
