Dan Patrick
Dan Patrick announced on his daily radio show with ESPN that he is leaving the network. He was off the air last week for what I thought was a vacation, but he was actually in talks with ESPN on possibly staying. Patrick stated he doesn’t know where he is going next other than it would be outside of ESPN. Patrick’s daily radio show has been on the air since 1999 and he has been with ESPN for 18 years. Patrick was a SportsCenter anchor from 1989 to until last year winning the National Sportscaster of the Year award in Y2K. He also received a Sports Emmy Award in the Studio Host category in 1998.

any chance he and Dibbs get back together again or will he and Olberman start their own thing? Maybe Dan and Mike Irvin or better yet Dan and Don..Imus

I think Dan and Keith are very possible down the road because in my mind it’s either CBS or NBC for Mr. Patrick. If he goes the NBC route then Olbermann is a sure thing.

Patrick is the next Costas except Dan really has skills!
